Professional Phantom HSS End Cutter, compliant with DIN 5157, specifically designed for cutting G (BSP—British Standard Pipe) pipe threads. Manufactured from high-quality high-speed steel (HSS) for reliable performance and a long service life in general steel grades. This tap is the Finish Tap (No. 2) from the 2-piece DIN 5157 set. It is specifically designed to cut the G-thread profile to its full nominal depth after the use of the roughing tap. Thanks to its short cutting edge, this is the tap you use for the finishing pass, and it is essential for tapping blind holes right up to the bottom.
