Professional Phantom HSS-E Machine Tap, compliant with ISO 529, for tapping metric threads. As a steel specialist, this tap is manufactured from cobalt-alloyed HSS-E, which guarantees superior heat resistance and tool life in various types of steel. This short machine tap (ISO 529 standard) offers maximum stability. The geometry is specifically designed for blind holes: the 40° helix angle effectively draws the chips upward, out of the hole. The 2–3-start cut (Type C) allows you to tap close to the bottom of the hole.
