Product description
Professional Phantom HSS-E Machine Tap, compliant with DIN 376, for tapping metric threads. As a steel specialist, this tap is manufactured from cobalt-alloyed HSS-E, which guarantees superior heat resistance and tool life in various types of steel. The geometry is specifically designed for blind holes: the 20° helix angle effectively and controllably draws the chips upward out of the hole. The 2–3-start design allows you to tap close to the bottom of the hole. A distinctive feature of DIN 376 is the through shank (reduced shank), which is ideal for reaching deeper holes.
