Product description
Professional Phantom HSS-E Machine Tap, compliant with DIN 371, for tapping metric threads. As a steel specialist, this tap is manufactured from cobalt-alloyed HSS-E, which guarantees superior heat resistance and tool life in various types of steel. The geometry is specifically designed for blind holes: the 20° helix angle effectively and controllably draws the chips upward out of the hole. The 2–3-start cut allows you to tap close to the bottom of the hole. The DIN 371 standard guarantees a reinforced shank for maximum stability and precise clamping in the machine.
